Professional Journey

I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2022, completing the UCSD Extension Lactation Program with mentorship from the UCSF Birth Center and the Outpatient Lactation Consultation Clinic. I’ve been working at UCSF since 2015, where my passion for maternal and infant health began. There, I manage a comprehensive, award-winning program supporting employees and learners returning to work or school after pregnancy and bonding leave, including lactation support and pumping accommodations. The program was honored with the 2025 Workplace Excellence in Lactation Award by the California Breastfeeding Coalition, recognized for setting a powerful standard for institutions of higher education across California and beyond. I’ve had the privilege of guiding over 100 families while balancing my full-time role at UCSF. I am committed to continuous learning, intentional work, and self-care so I can show up fully in both my professional and personal life.

I am passionate about creating supportive systems and improving processes that enhance the health and well-being of families and the environments around them. I hold a degree in Health Education with an emphasis in Community-Based Research from San Francisco State University, and in 2018, I completed a birth doula training at Natural Resources in San Francisco.
